Heather Sherer brings over 25 years of experience delivering complex global sports projects and major events from inception through to successful delivery. She has held senior management and consulting roles across Olympic Organising Committees, the IOC, FIFA, UEFA, the Commonwealth Games, the Volvo Ocean Race, and elite private organisations, consistently operating in highly complex, multi-stakeholder environments.

Heather’s expertise spans strategy definition, programme and project management, governance design, and operational delivery. She is highly experienced in working with government departments, rights holders, and organising committees to define clear roles, responsibilities, and decision-making structures, while maintaining rigorous budget control, risk management, and reporting frameworks. Her recent work includes serving as Technical Lead for the successful UK & Ireland bid for UEFA EURO 2028.
